Our team provides listening services for all Veterans and family members. In addition, we provide a Resource Hub of all viable Veteran and family services available in northern Colorado. Northern Colorado runs from Broomfield north to Wyoming and east to Prospect Valley.
Please let us know if you would like to get together with one of our Qualified Listeners, perhaps over coffee. We only meet in public places to ensure you and our Listeners are kept safe.
To initiate a meeting just leave us a phone message, or email or fill out the form on our web site.
Providing Solutions – Not just Services!
Interviewing and preserving the stories of Veterans on video since 2006 with the honor of capturing the history of over 500 warriors. Among them are over 350 WWII Veterans.
The main object is to get their stories down on permanent record for them and their families. A secondary objective, only with their permission, is to donate a copy to their local library/museum, CSU’s Morgan Library, and the Library of Congress.
To arrange an interview just call Brad Hoopes at (970) 631-2027 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We participate in and plan events with the goal of helping military Veterans, Veteran causes and organizations who support Veterans. We provide motorcycle escorts and flag details for Veteran funerals, parades and other Veteran events. We plan and carry out fund raisers, liaison with community leaders and other Veteran support groups in order to assist them in helping our northern Colorado Veterans.
We are a 501-C3 organization of combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. We have chapters and members in all 50 states and living overseas. Many members continue to serve in our Armed Forces with several in combat areas.
Front Range Chapter 3-6 is based in northern Colorado and has members throughout the area such as Fort Collins, Windsor, Loveland, Greeley and Johnstown.
DAV MISSION STATEMENT
We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.
Our mission is to Honor Veterans from Northern Colorado, SE Wyoming, and Western Nebraska with free trips to visit the War Memorials in Washington, DC. All WWII, Korean, Vietnam, and Purple Heart Recipients from all conflicts as well as any Veteran with a terminal diagnosis that can safely make our trip will have priority. Once the Desert Storm Memorial is complete, we hope to have enough community support and interest from those who have served in The Sandbox to expand our mission to Honor this group of Heroes as well. Our first flight is scheduled for September 15-16 2019.
